How would you describe your coaching philosophy and approach to player development?

I believe we have a window of time to maximize the youth sports experience for our kids. Our focus should be on their growth on and off the field and the family environment of support, encouragement and appropriate challenge that we create. It's our role, as coaches and leaders, to accelerate that growth on the field and provide the positive, inclusive support off the field.

What do you believe is the most important thing young players should learn from the game?

Enjoyment, growth and confidence.

What excites you most about coaching in FC Ellicott City?

I share the club’s philosophy in player development both on and off the field and the vision of serving all levels of our soccer community.

What do you hope players take away from their experience playing for your team?

My goal is to help every player and family maximize their soccer experience by creating an environment where players grow in confidence, skill and enjoyment with appropriate challenge.
