About FC Ellicott City
As we continue planning for the 2026–27 seasonal year and beyond, we want to share an important and exciting message to all families in our club’s community. Beginning with the 2026–27 season, we will launch FC Ellicott City as the name for all Travel, REC and Special Needs programming moving forward and beyond.
All current programs will continue as Ellicott City Soccer Club through the end of the 2026 spring/summer season.
This evolution reflects where we are as a club today and where we are going in the future together.
Ellicott City represents our community and the families who have built this club. The addition of FC (Football Club) aligns us with the global game and reinforces our identity as a soccer-first organization focused on development, professionalism, and long-term growth.
Our mission and vision remain the same along with our core values. Our commitment to our players and families remains the same. FC Ellicott City develops players through a positive soccer environment built on experienced leadership, coaching, community connection, and a commitment to long-term player development. We provide programs for all ages and abilities so every athlete can learn, compete, and reach their full potential. Additionally, we are committed to inspire every young player in Howard County and surrounding area’s to enjoy the game, grow as a person on and off the field.
What this evolution does is bring clarity and consistency to our identity as we continue to grow across travel, rec, special needs, and future programming. It strengthens how we present ourselves in future leagues, tournaments, soccer environments, and within the broader soccer community.
As youth soccer continues to evolve in the US Soccer landscape, we believe this step positions our players and families for continued opportunity and success while honoring the foundation that has already been built.
In the coming weeks, we will have announcements to provide more information about FC Ellicott City with our new logo reveal, website launch, soccer programming opportunities, coaching staff, leadership, partnerships and more.
We are proud of our past. We are confident in our present. And we are excited about our future — together as FC Ellicott City.
