How would you describe your coaching philosophy and approach to player development?

I believe players develop best when they feel supported and valued for their unique strengths. As a coach, my goal is to create a positive, inclusive environment where players recognize and celebrate those strengths in themselves and their teammates.

I believe that an important part of creating a positive team environment is empowering every player to feel confident and comfortable asking questions and voicing their opinions. In addition to training technical skills, I encourage players to think critically about the game and actively participate in conversations about strategy.

Ultimately, I aim to develop strong, skilled players that are motivated, thoughtful, resilient, and excellent teammates.

What do you believe is the most important thing young players should learn from the game?

I think it’s important for young players to learn how to be a good teammate and work toward shared goals.

What excites you most about coaching in FC Ellicott City?

I’m excited about coaching in a highly collaborative environment with experienced coaches and supportive club leaders.

What do you hope players take away from their experience playing for your team?

My goal is for each player to have fun, build their confidence, and develop their skills in a positive, supportive environment.
